The members of the Texas Hill Country Nature Photography Alliance are opening their ranch gates this spring to allow nature photographers and nature  tourism fans a chance to see what we’re all about. There is no charge for for the previews, but visitors must make advance arrangements with each land owner, either through the ranch website or by telephone.

The ranch tour weekend takes place May 24 & 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registered visitors may expect to see some, or all, of the ranch’s photo sites, plus get a general feel of the topography and photographic opportunities. It’s a chance for nature photographers to “check-out” the ranch without committing to a fee-based shooting day.
